Now is the time
to……….
Spring is
a great time to get out in the yard. As you do your spring clean-up, look around
the yard for any winter damage. Prune out any broken branches. Feed your shrubs
and trees with an appropriate fertilizer. Lawns can be thatched this time of the
year. Be sure to apply a crabgrass preventer and fertilizer to the lawn now.
Brighten
up your planters and gardens with pansies. Come in to see all the new varieties
available. Soon all the cold hardy annuals like Alyssum, Dusty Miller,
Snapdragons, and Daisy’s will be in. Cold hardy vegetable can also be planted by
mid-April. Get your gardens ready with our Bumper Crop—A fantastic organic soil
builder. Use it on vegetables, annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees. It can
also be used to top dress lawns!
Shrubs
are arriving weekly now so come in early to get the best selection. We have
found a grower of camellias and we now have many hardy varieties just coming
into bloom.
We at
