What is Companion Planting?
Companion planting is simply planting different garden plant species next to each other, so that one or both of the plants benefits. Intermixing the right combination of garden plants like vegetables, herbs and flowers. Companion Planting can also help repel annoying insects and limit the spread of diseases.

Basil~ Plant near: most garden crops, improves the flavor and growth of garden crops, especially tomatoes and lettuce.

Beans~ Plant near: beets, cabbage, carrots, catnip, cauliflower, corn, cucumbers, marigolds, potatoes, savory, strawberries.
